A cable from Director to Mexico City in October, 1963, stated that after discussions with Sunderland at headquarters, it was suggested that WAVE should arrange to pick up and utilize the referenced communications equipment. The Chief of Station (COS) comment mentioned that there was five boxes containing electronics gear in Mexico.
