Discussion:
A memo from Stanley R. Zamka (David Morales) on October 7, 1963, stated that Irving C. Devuono (Grayston Lynch) used the alias George Lee in the local area. The name Paukert was included below and to the left of Zamka's name at the bottom of the page. David Morales was Chief, Paramilitaries (PM), at JMWAVE at this time.

Another memo by Morales on September 1, 1964, mentioned that "Irving C. Devuono, a career agent with PM, is interested in acquiring the term insurance which KUBARK (CIA) has available for persons in Devuono's category. Please forward the necessary applications and information on this subject to Aubrey K. Paukert/PM for passage to Devuono." Therefore, Paukert was clearly well known to David Morales.

A dispatch in April, 1964, stated that Aubrey K. Paukert as "Jerry" was exposed to/by Operation ZORRO (a cache operation conducted by a four man team to provide weapons and explosives for Rolando Cubela inside Cuba). Similarly, a dispatch in January of 1968 stated that Paukert was exposed to AMHINT-56 (Juan Francisco Blanco Fernandez) as "Jerry."

A dispatch in August, 1964, stated that Aubrey K. Paukert had recruited AMNUBA-1, a commando and radio operator in the AMLILAC ("Commando Groups" - Comandos Mambises and others, involved in infiltrations into Cuba) group.

It is possibly worth noting that "Aubrey R. Parant/Randy (training instructor)" was exposed to AMTRUNK-1 (George aka Jorge Volsky) and AMHINT-56. Parant was very similar in name to Aubrey K. Paukert. This also applied in turn to Irving Devuono, Irving Cadick (William Robertson) and Irving Peggins.

10/07/63: Memo from Stanley R. Zamka (David Morales), Chief, PM to Chief, Cover (note: Paukert's name is in capitals below and to the left of Zamka's name at the bottom of the memo): Subject: Alien Documentation for Irving C. Devuono (P): "1. Irving C. Devuono (Grayston Lynch) has used the alias George Lee in the local area. The circumstances which required the use of this alias is as follows: Devuono, accompanied by the real estate officer from the Cover Branch, under the alias Gregory Williams, went to Islamorada in April 1963 to determine the suitability of S/H 177 for the AMLILAC ("Commando Groups" - Comandos Mambises and others - involved in infiltrations into Cuba) Group. It was not anticipated at that time that Devuono would be required to use his name with the owner, Eddie Sweeting. However, arrangements for the S/H were made on the spot and the name George Lee given as the occupant of the house. 2. If possible it is requested that alias documentation be established in the name of George Lee. This is not an absolute requirement, however, and a registered alias could be arranged."
