03/13/70: Dispatch from COS, Withheld to Chief, WHD (Info: Chief, European Division; COS, Miami; COB/DO, Withheld): Subject: TYPIC/QUTIMID (REDACTION): "1. According to QUTIMID on 26 February, (REDACTION) of the (REDACTION) Company called AMAUTO-1 and spoke with his secretary to explain that her company is giving their book to a number of persons in order to obtain their opinions about the product and AMAUTO-1 was one of the persons on (REDACTION) list. AMAUTO-1's secretary said that he would call when he returned. Later, (REDACTION) was told that an appointment was made for 10 March. 2. This would appear to be a routine item which probably would not merit further investigation, unless we can discover someone of higher caliber in the (REDACTION) Company who could approach AMAUTO-1 as a means of cultivating a meaningful friendship with AMAUTO-1.
