Discussion:
A cable from JMWAVE on December 5, 1963, stated that communications instructor, Daniel F. Gussow (IDEN), was arriving in Madrid on December 7th. Another cable the same day stated that the identity was William Mount.

A third cable, from Madrid, on December 5, 1963, contained information from (Henry J.) Sloman, who was probably Tony Sforza. Sloman suggested "commo instructor arrive MADR AM 7 Dec."

Daniel Gussow was in Madrid and Paris in October 1963, and was involved in the AMLASH (Rolando Cubela Secades) project.

A cable on December 9, 1963, mentioned that Daniel Gussow was a KUCLUB (CIA Office of Communications) training officer. In addition, a cable from JMWAVE on December 10, 1963, stated "FYI: Mr. William Mount TDY Madrid for approx ten days to provide WT training for JMWAVE asset."

Two dispatches in 1964 noted that Gussow was known as "Bill" to AMAGREE-1 and AMNUBA-1. A dispatch in 1968 also said he was exposed to AMSTALK-1 (Miguel Angel Diaz Isalgue) as "Bill."
