Pseudonym: Gussow, Daniel

Definition:
CIA Miami based officer, Tony Sforza. A cable on December 5, 1963, stated that Gussow's identity was located in MADR 9866, and that he was a commo instructor. MADR 9866 has information from (Henry J.) Sloman, who was probably Tony Sforza.

Discussion:
The only other individual mentioned in this cable (aside from AMCROAK-1 who was receiving training and can thus be ruled out) was AMOT-2 (Jose Joaquin Sanjenis Perdomo). Daniel Gussow was in Madrid and Paris in October 1963, and was involved in the AMLASH project. In addition, two dispatches in 1964 noted that Gussow was known as "Bill" to AMAGREE-1 and AMNUBA-1.
