Status:
Speculative
Discussion:
A dispatch in March of 1965 stated that Norman D. Kiggins (probably Robert Wall) turned AMDENIM-1 (Alberto Fernandez Hechevarria) over to Hugh R. Dendy in September, 1964.

Dendy as Chief, Special Operations Branch, signed Irving Devuono's (Grayston Lynch) Fitness Report for July 1, 1965 to December 31, 1965, on February 17, 1966. Hugh R. Dendy was still Chief, Special Operations Branch in April of 1967, when he wrote a memo on a promotion recommendation for Devuono. John Hannon was Grayston Lynch's supervisor in January 1968 and was Chief, Special Operations Branch in April 1968 (104-10224-10000, pages 8 and 213). Hannon had the pseudonym Harold Karably. It is possible that Hannon was Chief, Special Operations Branch in April 1967.

In addition, two CIA documents in 1968 mentioned that Hugh R. Dendy was exposed to AMHINT-56 (Juan Francisco Blanco Fernandez) and AMSTALK-1 (Miguel Angel Diaz Isalgue) as "George."
