A memo from Horace W. Davis, Acting Chief, Political Action Division, on September 25, 1959, stated that "Tichborn knows me as Mr. Darkin." In addition, a PRQ Part II for Tichborn stated that the "case officer used the alias Henry W. Darkin...Subject can be turned over to any responsible case officer by Horace W. Davis."
