May 1964: In early May, Rogelio Cisneros/AMBANG-4 told Alanis Angulo/AMTAUP-1 that he would head JURE's military base in the Dominican Republic, "where JURE infiltrees being trained in Tampa base will be transferred upon completion (of) training...on 3 May Maria Gomez, wife (of) Cisneros, told AMTAUP-2 that AMBANG-1 replaced Jose Aguiar Fernandez with Billy "Chus" (phonetic) as JURE chief (of intelligence)." Gomez said Chus formerly with (CIA) and entered US Army on instructions AMBANG-1. No station traces Chus. AMTAUP-2 trying to learn true name." 6/27/64 cable from JMWAVE to Director, slugline RYBAT TYPIC YOBITE AMBANG: "According AMFAST-6 cable 25 June, AMBANG-1/Manuel Ray Rivero informed Pepe Gatillo/Jose Garcia Valdez their departure date for (Cuba) would be 1 July...Gatillo told AMFAST-6 that he and AMBANG-1 to leave at 0500 on 1 July and meet other boat at 0900 same morning off (US) coast...AMBANG-1, Gatillo and mechanic to use (a Rybovitch boat) while 1950 green Chris Craft owned by Armando Acosta (berthed in Miami)...serve as mother ship and be occupied by Armando Acosta, Orlando "Bebo" Acosta Suarez (201-297784) and Bill Chus (Schuss? 201-281273), AMBANG/JURE intel chief, Chus to serve as mechanic and go ashore with AMBANG-1...On their arrival (to Cojimar) they to be met by Raul Perez, aka "Mirringa"...who to take them (to) Habana. Perez's wife name Rosa...On 24 June Gatillo told AMFAST-6 that AMBANG-1 would remain (Cuba) for 15 days in order coordinate plan of action with people there and order to see certain people close AMTHUG-1 (Fidel Castro) who plotting with AMBANG-1.
