Born and reared in Italy, TX. Detective in Criminal Investigation Division, Dallas Police Department. Auto Theft Bureau. Although he was not "on duty," he was in DPD basement and saw Ruby shoot Oswald on Sunday, November 24, 1963. Died Sunday, February 7, 1999, in RHD Memorial Medical Center in Dallas at age 78. Survived by wife, Lucy G. Watson of Dallas, and two sons, William W. Watson of Plano, and Jimmy J. Watson of Dallas.
