Comments:
FBI Security Clerk in New Orleans in 1963. Was on duty the day in August 1963 when John L. Quigley interviewed Oswald in the jail. Claimed that the FBI had both a security file and an informant file on Oswald. Walter also claimed that he was on duty night of Nov 17, 1963, when he received a teletype from FBI headquarters addressed to all FBI agents in charge of FBI field offices warning of an assassination attempt against President Kennedy's life during the forthcoming trip to Dallas Nov 22 or 23, 1963. Walter claimed his former wife, Sharon @overt, could substantiate his claim. She denied he ever told her about the teletype.
