DOB: April 16, 1913; POB: Brooklyn, NY DOD: Nov. 12, 2000, at age 87; POD: Kaanapali, Maui. Obstetrician who delivered two children of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy and John F. Kennedy and was called on to console Mrs. Kennedy following her husband's assassination. His wife of 55 years, Irene Ross Walsh, died in 1996. Walsh delivered John F. Kennedy, Jr., at Georgetown University Hospital. He delivered Patrick Kennedy in August 1963 at Otis Air Force Base on Cape Cod. Patrick died two days later. Walsh was a clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Georgetown University Medical School.
