Member of firm of: Herrick, Langdon, Belin, Harris, Langdon & Helmick, 2000 Financial Center, Des Moines, Iowa. DOD: 1/17/99; POD: Rochester, Minn. Died from head injuries suffered in a fall in a Minnesota hotel room at 70 years of age. He was at St. Mary's Hospital of Mayo Clinic for an annual check-up. Senior partner of law firm of Belin, Lamson, McCormick, Zumbach, Flynn in Des Moines. Survived by wife, Barbara Ross Belin, whom he married in 1992; three sons, Jonathan, of Pembroke Pines, Fla., James of Phoenix, and Thomas, of Santa Monica, Calif; two daughters, Joy Belin of Chevy Chase, MD., and Laura Belin of London; one grandchild; a stepson, Lee Ross of Sydney, Australia; and a stepdaughter, Jenifer Ross Schumacher of Tarrytown, NY.
