DOB: 7/11/1915. POB: Greenville, Mississippi. DOD: Dec. 3, 1963, in Miami. Survived by Alice Boyd Stockdale, widow; children: Grant, 16, student at Sewanee; Lee Lawson, 11, Sally, 20, New York, Ann, 18, London, Susan, 8; Mrs. Lydia Stockdale, Austin, TX, mother; Mrs. Bartley Hodges, Austin, sister; Mrs. Marvin Lawson, Los Angeles, sister; Julian Stockdale, St. Petersburg, Florida, brother. In April 1963, Bobby Baker, Grant Stockdale, Ed Levinson and Jack B. Cooper visit Santo Domingo. Within two weeks of assassination, Stockdale, Florida Democratic 'boss' appointed to Ireland by JFK in 1961 for 14 months, leaps to death from Miami office.
