Larrie Schmidt and 2 men negotiated with L. S. Brotherton (related to Lem Brotherton, Asst. Dist. Atty. of Dallas) to buy the Beachcomber in Spring-Summer of 1963. Bernard Weissman negotiated with Brotherton in Nov. 1963 to buy the club.
