An American of Austrian origin. She traveled to Haiti in November 1964 and stayed for a few days in George and Jeanne deMohrenschildt's home, the Villa Valbrune, Port-au-Prince. The deMohrenschildts received mail with the return address: "V. Somoff, 11 East 63rd Street, New York 21, New York" postmarked October 16, 1964. Another piece of mail with same return address was postmarked 3 December 1964.
