Comments:

Joined Communist Party in 1920's. Editor Daily Worker. Recruited by FBI between 1951 and 1954. Code-named "Solo". J. Edgar Hoover sent him to Cuba. His brother Jack Childs died Aug. 12, 1980, in Hampton Bay, NY. Morris Childs' whereabouts unknown. (Morris Childs is deceased by March 31, 1995.)
