With University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1963. Chairman of medical school's sugery department. Recognized for his research in trauma. Worked on JFK and JBC 11/22/63. Dr. Maury Soltes arranged through Dr. Shires for liaison between FBI Special Agents Charles T. Brown, Jr., Curtis L. Perryman, Arthur E. Carter, Leo L. Robertson and Wallace R. Heitman to be ready to take a dying declaration from LHO on 11/24/63.
