Born in Kentwood, LA, March 17, 1913. Died in New Orleans Thurs. 8/15/74. Took courses at Columbia University in New York in 1930s. Joined Army 1942. Attended Officers Candidate School and became Lieutenant. Discharged 1946. Decorated by both Belgium and U.S. Helped organize International Trade Mart in New Orleans in 1947. Resigned as director in September 1965. Arrested 3/1/67, and charged with conspiracy to assassinate President John F. Kennedy. Acquitted 3/1/69.
