Pedro Gandarilla and Graciela Manduley were interviewed trying to identify Saavedra. "Close friend of Celia Sanchez Castro's secretary, which pointed to complicity of Chinese Communists and Castro in plot." See also Ramon B. Cortes. Bankers Trust Co., 14 Wall St., New York, has an account for "Miguel Saavedra, c/o Braden Copper Co., Rancagua, Chile." Bankers Trust also has account for "Alfred Saavedra, 1332 Bronx River Ave., Bronx, New York."
