DOB: 5/27/31. POB: Columbus, GA. His parents resided in Ellensburgh, Washington. Was with the National Security Agency, Ft. Meade, Maryland. Defected to USSR in June 1960 with Bernon F. Mitchell. Both had been in NSA. "13 US defectors between 1958 and 1960. Among them 5 KGB agents (one of them was Martin)."
