DOB: 1918. Special Agent in Charge of FBI's 132-county Dallas office, transferred April 15, 1963, to San Francisco. Later transferred to Honolulu. He was replaced by Gordon J. Shanklin of the Honolulu office. A Minnesota native, son of Norwegian immigrants, was in charge of Dallas office from December of 1958 to April 1963. Lynum replaced Edward L. Boyle as Special Agent in Charge. Lynum's two children: Larry Lynum, born 1950; and Bonnie Lynum, born 1951.
