DOB: May 15, 1944. Arrested 11/22/63 at 2:30 PM, in Press Room at Dallas City Hall, Police & Courts Bldg, on investigation of burglary, auto theft, forgery and murder. Stated he was there to turn himself in for auto theft and burglary offenses in Memphis, TN, and Birmingham, Alabama. Held in Cell F-11 (or A-11 ? See Carol Hewett's letter of July 24, 1996). Drivers license expired in 1989 and not renewed; ticketed 1990 for not paying outstanding tickets; ticketed in Harlingen, TX, and listed employment as schrimper. Cedarbluff, Mississippi, is in Clay County, 8 to 10 miles north of Starkville (Mississippi State), and approximately 120 miles southeast of Memphis, TN. Douglas has been wanted for rape in Clay County, Mississippi, since 1990.
