In 1964, owned Global Pipe Line, 806 Fidelity Union Life Bldg., Dallas, TX (Mrs. Lou Minton, branch manager. Wife: Gayle. Deaton made "side deal" with James Herbert Martin, Marina's "business manager". Deaton had FBI record and alleged links to Smaldone family in Colorado. In 1976, Deaton in West German jail over a silver fraud plot. Fought extradiction.
