A Spanish soldier who arrived in Cuba during Spanish-American War. After the war, he worked for United Fruit Co. briefly then started out on his own. He amassed a vast empire. While married to his first wife, he had 5 children by the family cook. After his wife died, he married the cook. Fidel Castro was the second of her children.
