Cuban exile who founded Bell Mortgage Co. in Miami in 1969. In 1973, the CIA approached Castro and asked him to serve as a front for laundering money and financing operations. He complied. In 1976 he pleaded guilty to fraud charges and was sentenced to 7 years.
