President of Texas School Book Depository, employer of Lee Oswald; ultra right-wing Conservative. At party for head of McGraw-Hill in 1961, Mrs. Cason, his wife, said, "John F. Kennedy should be shot." Reported by Ted Taylor, a guest, to Father Joseph Grew of Richardson, who told it to FBI. Died at age 77 Jan. 10, 1985. Survived by wife: Gladys S. Cason and 3 daughters. His DOB: 10/6/1907. POB: Cynthiana, Kentucky.
