DOB: 1/23/36. POB: Dallas, TX. Wife: Dorothy. Refrigeration service-man for Texas Butcher Supply Co., 2038 Commerce, Dallas. Told FBI about picking up a hitch-hiker near Beckley Street entrance to expressway on 11/20/63. Man was carrying package he said contained curtain rods. Man showed him his photograph holding a rifle and wearing a handgun in a holster. Related strange story of his conversation with the man. Yates had been hospitalized with a nervous condition.
