"At the 9 to 10 April meeting of the CRC, the representatives of the various groups were told by ANTONIO SILIO (note: CIA officer Anthony Sileo) that the final statement of the CRC would be released as a "unanimous" statement despite possible abstentions on the part of some organizations, and that abstaining groups would be dealt with later."
11/28/63: "ZRWAHOO because vagueness of location..." Information came from a Cuban penal farm. The subject was "the possibility of a buried missile dump in southern Pinar del Rio province". The source was "a former member of a Cuban law enforcement service".
11/30/63: Che Guevara alleged to be under house arrest because of involvement in anti-Castro plot. Emphasized this is rumor only.
12/3/63: 4 UFG reports, one about Betancourt and Venezuela was disseminated, the other three were not for reasons such as "old and previously reported" and "more details needed".
12/8/63 cable WAVE 8675 from JMWAVE to Director, slugline INTEL TYPIC: "Supdata: ZRWAHOO. AMWARM-1 SW dated 15 Nov received 2 Dec....Source: Civil aviation expert...trained for intelligence work...a usually reliable source reported neither Raul or Fidel attended the Soviet embassy party...(it may be) a sequel to the ouster of Juan Marinello Vidauretta, former rector to the University of Habana and old guard Communist. Fidel may be once again trying to eliminate old guard Communists from the Cuban hierarchy..."
12/9/63, WAVE 8730: JMPALM slugline. "ZRWAHOO. REDACTED from exiled Venezuelan military officers residing WAVE who invited REDACTED to return Cara for government post after military takeover occurs...SUBJECT: Expectation by Venezuelan military officials of Venezuelan coup d'etat after military takeover occurs." 2-3 pages further, it is noted that a new president (Leoni) won election on December 1 and that "Venezuelan exiles in Miami claim that a continuation of the Betancourt policies as promised by Leoni will ruin Venezuela."
10/17/64 "Report class secret". Information was from "Lt. Ferrero", who approached AMCOG-3 re possible defection. The source, an "educated Cuban resident in Habana" obtained the information from Ferrero.
1977: A "ZRWAHOO intelligence report" stated that a minister (Enrique Montero Lezcano) within the "Cuban Embassy in Kingston, Jamaica" reported that Cuban exiles such as FNU DIAZ LANZ killed JFK. The Latin America Division opined that this story came from a 9/20/77 NY Daily News article stating that Pedro Diaz Lanz, Frank Sturgis, and others were part of a squad to kill Kennedy, according to Marita Lorenz.
