4/23/64, dispatch from Chief, JMWAVE to Chief, SAS: "Transmitted herewith is a revised copy of Operation ZORRO. A four man team from the AMLILAC group will emplace a 250 pound cache of weapons and ammunition in the vicinity of Playa de Morrillo, Pinar del Rio province...this cache is for AMLASH-1." The next page states that ZORRO is the cryptonym and the purpose was to keep AMLASH/Rolando Cubela supplied with weapons and explosives.

6/12/64, dispatch from Chief, JMWAVE to Deputy Chief, SAS: Reported that Operation ZORRO was successful, caching 250 pounds of material on the north coast of the province of Pinar del Rio.

104-10216-10209: DISPATCH: TRANSMISSION OF S/W MESSAGES TO AND FROM AMTRUNK NETWORK

7/16/64 message to AMTRUNK-10: "If you have received the (AMLASH) cache, we would appreciate your answers to the following questions. One. Were the contents of the cache in good condition when you received them?...Six. What do you intend to do about the cache in Pinar del Rio (ZORRO cache)?..."
