11/29/63 cable WAVE 8297 from JMWAVE to Director, noting that AMWEE-2 (probably Zbynek Samonil) "noted unusual antenna atop SMOOTHER Embassy which not television camera and too large for normal receiver needs...It (is) AMWEE-2's personal opinion he fooled AMFAUNA-14 into believing he insignificant cut-out and servant of AMWEE-4..."

104-10075-10016: DIRECTOR CABLE RE LACK OF ARRANGEMENTS WITH BRITISH.

12/5/63 cable DIR 87115 from SAS/MOB to JMWAVE: "(In) view (of) lack of firm arrangements with SMOOTHERS must stay minimum ten miles from SMOOTHERS territory." Handwritten marginalia identifies SMOOTHERS as British.
