SADOUBT-1 also reported that Carlos Franqui had been sacked from his headquarters position as editor of Revolucion. The news was passed to Franqui's deputy, Sarusky, who was presently in Oslo, by Cuban press attaché to London, Pablo Armando Fernandez. SADOUBT-1 had been debriefed on October 28 and 29, 1963. In addition, a cable on December 7, 1963, stated that Wallace A. Growery (probably Earl Williamson) was arriving in London on December 8th, and due to SADOUBT-1's recent trip to Havana, desired that Growery, with assistance from London, make contact with SADOUBT-1 as soonest as possible, and develop any information on the assassination of President Kennedy. The cable added that SADOUBT-1 was also arriving in London on December 8th. Moreover, a cable in February of 1965 mentioned that AMWHIP-1 (Carlos Tepedino Gonzalez) telephoned Stockwood from Milan on the evening of February 6th, and confirmed that AMLASH-1 (Rolando Cubela Secades) travelled to Madrid that same day with UNSNAFU-19 (Antonio Maria Carrillo Carreras) and SADOUBT-1.
