Nov. 1958 - Lorie, Pedro Diaz Lanz and Fiorini purchase a C-46 airplane in Fiorini's name. Eleven Cubans, including Gustavo Arcos, and Fiorini are arrested with the C-46 and American-made arms. (See LITAMIL-1 for more on this event.) By Nov. 1959, Fiorini was on the "notice of prevention of departure" list of INS. (p. 41)

1/60: QDBIAS/Pedro reported that QDCOVE/Lorie tried to attack QDCHAR/Marcos with a two foot length of heavy chain. Difference in opinion. QDCOVE/Lorie wants to personally take control of the Cuban government. QDBIAS wants to fight a disciplined military action and let others decide how the government will be run.

8/7/60: Liberation Alliance formed From MRR. Lorie, Nino Diaz, and Michel Yabor were part of this MRR dissident group not accepted by the FRD. Jesus Arboleya, Cuban Counterrevolution, p. 65: They split from Artime and formed the so-called MRR de los Comandantes. Artime was on the FRD Executive Board. Artime, Tony Varona, Aurelio Sanchez Arango and Julio Castillo were with the prevailing MRR faction. 12/23/60 cable from Mexico City to Director: LITAMIL-1 thought money from US would give "Rojas group unexpected but merited assistance as he good friend and admirer de la Lorie and others...whom he calls 'men of action' not 'politicians'".

4/9/62 JMWAVE chief Ted Shackley sends to Task Force W chief Bill Harvey biographies of twelve "Cuban exile personalities". Lorie is one of them, given to JMWAVE by AMBUD-1/Miro Cardona. His biographical number MAY be 201-022328
