4/13/62 memo from PW Alice Caponong to Chief Task Force W William Harvey: AMBUD-1 has a series of meetings with RFK, declares he wants PASSAVOY to continue being his contact. Critical of Goodwin's Cuba policy, which he says amounts to "peaceful coexistence". The first meeting was organized by Hal Hendrix of the Miami Daily News, who has written a series of articles attacking Goodwin for his inexperience and naivete. Refers to an attachment of articles, which can be seen below.

6/19/62 memo from William K. Harvey to Brig. Gen. Edward Lansdale re a summary on recruitment of Cuban exiles into the US Army. It is noted at the beginning that Col. Wendell Johnson was "our contact with Dr. Jose Miro Cardona...both Miro and Col. Johnson have understood that the existing agreement is that Cubans who have already enlisted or who enlist before 30 June 1962 will not be sent outside the United States."

6/30/62, C/TFW/PA-PROP Seymour Bolten Memorandum for the Record: "At PASSAVOY's request, Mr. (William) Harvey arranged through Mr. Tom Parrott for PASSAVOY to call upon General Maxwell Taylor for a discussion of the former's view on AMBUD and the Cuban exile community in general...(PASSAVOY) did advise General Taylor that he had been asked by Mr. Harvey to sound out AMBUD-1 on certain individuals such as Manuel RAY, BETANCOURT, and others and the MRP in general."
8/16/62 memo, groups are pressuring Cardona to carry document to JFK and get a final yes or no on supporting Cuban exiles in fight against Castro. Cardona wants talk with Taylor, RFK and Hurwitch on general Cuban policy and programs for Cubans in US services.

Caponong to C/PM (David Morales), routed to George, Bill, Phil, and "Evvy": "AMBUD-1 told PASSAVOY...there may be leaks through contacts with organizations (groups) of AMBUD...LASAGA had expressed his satisfaction that AMBUD-1 and "the amigos" were in agreement on the Russian troops landings..."
10/9/62 memorandum for General Maxwell Taylor/GPPHOTO on recruiting program for Cuban exiles. Prepared by PASSAVOY, who signs the document as "WCJ" (Wendell C. Johnson).
1/24/63 memo by FBI agent George Davis in Miami. Describes Colonel Wendell Johnson was the liaison between the CRC and several other agencies, including CIA. The principal suspects in the bombing of Miro Cardona/AMBUD-1 were Jesus Gonzalez Cartas/El Extrano and Humberto Rodriguez Diaz.
