Amaro Alvarez Tormo, officer of AMSTRUT-2 (Juanita Castro) group in Mexico. A dispatch in December of 1965 stated that Amaro Alvarez Tormo's 201 number was 201-300923. A cable in October, 1966, mentioned that LISASSY-1's 201 number was 201-300923.

Other delegates are Carlos Fernandez Trujillo (AMSAIL-3); Juan Morenza, newspaperman; Luis Rodriguez Tejera, religious matters; Rolando Rojas, delegate; Aldo Fores, delegate.

12/27/63: Cable WAVE 9679 from JMWAVE to Director: "Following are two reports from independent sources connection GPFLOOR matter: In letter to AMING-2/Enrique Huertas, dated 11 Dec. 63, IDEN A/LISASSY-1/Amaro Alvarez Tormo (note: marginalia identifies him as a "Cuban refugee doctor") stated IDEN B/Lee Harvey Oswald visited Mexi Sept 63 and stayed at El Comercio Hotel from 23 Sept to 6 Oct 63. During stay at Hotel (Oswald) met with (Eusebio Azcue - ex-AMKNOB-1/Pedro Fedeli Medici case officer whose departure Mexi 18 Nov 63 confirmed by HMMA-25543, 22 Nov 63) and (unnamed Soviet diplomat). During AMKNOB-1's debriefing prior (to) his departure for Puerto Rico 20 Dec. 63, he stated that (201-301755 - Jorge Hernandez Armas. See 104-10414-10124, p. 60: he replaced Lechuga as Ambassador to Mexico during May 1963) was person who had received (Oswald) at Cuban Embassy in Mexico City when latter sought visa for Cuba Sept 63...WAVE attempting obtain follow-up info from (Amaro/LISASSY-1) through AMING-2 to substantiate paragraph 1 above."

Officer of AMSTRUT-2 group in Mexico...201-300923; ...Raul Botifoll, officer of AMSTRUT-2 group in Mexico, personally named by AMSTRUT-2 as her representative in Mexico...valuable member of the underground in Cuba."

04/17/68: Cable: Slugline PBRUMEN LISASSY: "1. LISASSY-1 did not discuss with LIRING-9 his Panama meet with Enrique Huertas. As suggested para 1 ref A LISASSY-1 told LIRING-9 15 April meeting Huertas advised by phone organizing international groups to work against AMTHUG. LISASSY-1 will say does not have details and names but will attempt solicit from Huertas during stopover Miami 17 April. LISASSY-1 also briefed para 2 ref A and agreed go Prague for training if asked. Will tell LIRING-9 he may have updated info Huertas plans when arrives Madrid 20 April for two week stay and will request LIRING-9 furnish him Madrid contact and/or accommodation address. 2. LISASSY-1 ETA Miami afternoon 17 April for discussions with Huertas and AMBIDDY-1. These discussions will have bearing his mission for Huertas in Madrid. On 18 April goes Puerto Rico to visit brother wife. In Madrid plans see QUGROWL-1 and QUGROWL-2 (C-106471), and AMSEELY-1 (C-94865)..."
