Marginalia in 4/21/60 memo reveals that KMLASKING is WAY. WAY was the acronym for the World Assembly of Youth. AMCALL-1 planning to attend its Congress.

This bio describes Gonzalez/AMCALL-1: "During the anti-communist World Assembly of Youth (WAY) Seminar held outside Havana in December 1959, Gonzalez made a very frank appraisal of the Cuban and Latin American labor situation. Although he was critical of ORIT policies, Gonzalez asserted that the CTC was unwise to have withdrawn from ORIT." ORIT was the anti-communist Organizacion Regional Inter-Americana de Trabajadores. CTC was the Confederation of Cuban Workers.

Tom Braden, the chief of International Organizations Division during the sixties, writes in his article that French intelligence in Dakar were the original promoters of the World Assembly of Youth, and that the CIA took over the organization in 1954.

Request HQS clarify situation with KMLASKING leaders and inform station ASAP."

10/17/63, HMMA-22310 ref MEXI-6543, Chief of Station, Mexico City to Chief, WH, slugline is "(KMLASKING) LIEVICT - PRI Youth Group Charge": The PRI youth group is issuing some kind of attack on LIEVICT. "In the past, IDEN B has visited Mexico on (KMLASKING) business without making contact with LIEVICT but meeting leaders of (ZRAFRAID) and IDEN C." Unknown the definition of ZRAFRAID at this time.
