Discussion:
A cable on February 8, 1961, stated that Alberto Fernandez Hechevarria's (AMDENIM-1) boat the Tejana was due to arrive at Key West on February 11th. JMWAVE was planning to rerun Operation JEAN on the night of February 15th. Fernandez planned to exfiltrate Fermin Fleites (AMBLESS-2) and another leader of the MDC as part of this operation. The cable added that JMWAVE planned to use Robert Stevens and Mickey Kappes. In addition, a cable on March 1, 1961, stated that the Tejana returned to Key West and reported that Operation JEAN was a complete success. The following individuals were exfiltrated: Humberto Sori Marin, Emilio Posada Gomez, Juan Fajardo Rojas, Ramon Corrona Dillar, and Maria Barrios Quiroga. FOLL individuals infiltrated: Trainees 2625 (REDACTION) alias Rafael Alvarez Hernandez; 2629 (REDACTION) alias Javier Sanchez Rodriguez, and 2874 (REDACTION) alias Lorenzo Ruiz Berney to join Camaguey team. For Labor Team: AMICE-1 and AMOT-20 (Orestes Puig Rios) for Havana (REDACTION) to coordinate and attempt further unite various group. 2. Infiltrated approx 50 percent 5 ton cargo which composed FOLL: 120-man pack plus 50 M-1 rifles, 50 SMG M-5 with ammo for each and 500 pounds demolitions. 3. Nine persons exfiltrated. Cuellar was sent in to serve as the UR radop. The team landed in PBRUMEN (Cuba) 23 March 1961 with operation JEAN III; it was met and safehoused by UR members..."

Cargo listed para two ref plus 30,000 rounds M-1 rifle ammo...3. Tentatively plan new OPN MEGANO II night 7 April as requested via NOTLOX. Plan obtain large fishing boat to transport ten to twenty tons cargo to N2250 W7810 which is north of Cayo Guincho where it will rendezvous with Tejana afternoon of 7 April. Tejana will escort the fishing boat to N2233 W7813 for MEGANO II rendezvous with a large INRA coal barge. Will advise. CS Comment: *Listed cargo Tejana carrying."
