A Information Report in March of 1959 appeared to include Project FJMACHINE as a source. The source was described as a "person with good contacts in the Caribbean area."

Forwarded herewith is a request by Callender's former Deputy for a reversal of the Headquarters FJMACHINE refusal to settle his return transportation and freight charges in cash. The subject feels that his request is entirely logical and would be the cleanest break possible between himself and FJMACHINE. 2. He further feels, as stated in the attachment, that he has some legal recourse against QKIVORY (National Committee for a Free Europe and its subcommittees) if this request is refused..."

11/13/58: Cable from Munich to Director: Slugline DTDORIC FJMACHINE: FROM BOENING: "1. IDEN A reports Kenneth Callender (Note: Pseudonym for James McCargar) continues to see PARI exiles. On one occasion was spotted intercepting and walking off with two exiles about to enter PARI offices FJMACHINE. Also, when IDEN B passed through PARI on way home, reportedly saw Callender and later commented Callender appeared so distraught could become 'another Burgess, McLean case.' 2. While realize possible exaggerations these reports, believe may be wise impress Callender his responsibilities TPFEELING and ODYOKE (U.S. Government). Request HQs comments. Handwritten note: Callender was 'fired' in the field from FJMACHINE. Replaced by Delgado."
