Definition:
Probably Amalio Fiallo, a key organizer of the FRD in 1960. A cable in October of 1960 stated that Miro Cardona (AMBUD-1), Pepin Bosch (AMRUM-1), Benito Quevedo (publisher of Bohemia Libre), AMCHIRP-1 (Ramon Barquin Lopez) and AMWAIL-2 were the most prominent supporters of AMRASP/FRD.

5/26/60 cable from Miami to Director: "AMWAIL will go (to) Mexico approx 3 or 4 June to announce his reason for Castro break. While in Mexi AMWAIL will attempt find suitable smaller real estate needed soonest for training 20-40 commo operators along requirements set forth by HQS. AMHAWK will do same in Venezuela...Amalio Fiallo, who associate AMPALM-5/Jose Rasco and was admitted to States under special procedure, is returning Cuba to act as undercover FRD coordinator. While danger to Fiallo obvious, our Cubans feel he fairly safe since his father-in-law currently member Supreme Court. Among Fiallo's missions are contact highest church circles in name FRD, contact and pull together various Christian groupings, collect funds and establish appropriate accounts. Fiallo to return States in about 30 days."

8/30/60 cable: Chief of Station comment: "Gave details re anti-Castro group AMCALL-1 instrumental in forming called (Accion Democratica Revolucionaria)." The cable: "AMWAIL says Amalio Fiallo sent by AMCIGAR from Miami to Cuba at end May 60 to set up AMCIGAR in Havana. Says Fiallo's incorporation new group may reveal inconformity with existing groups or desire be personal representative of new group which may later seek join AMCIGAR. Says Antonio Fernandez Nuevo was President Juventud Catolica Cubana 1957-59 and is of absolute confidence although deficient as organizer. AMWAIL does not know other members new group but comments it seems to be well represented among various universities.

9/23/60 cable from Havana to Director: "Amalio Fiallo Gonzalez who according to AMCALL-1 is on National Directorate with Manolo Ray plans go Escambray in effort (to) organize and coordinate diverse political elements represented there. Once wife and two children out of Cuba, Fiallo will join Escambray fighters and remain there duration...Fiallo of very modest means, well known for organizational ability, helped organize MDC, was close to AMPALM-5, and seen active here in AMPALM-1 and (AMPALM-4) ops..." 10/17/60: Contact Report from Wallace A. Parlett: ..."2. The Cubans said that the AMBANG group is not ready to join AMRASP; the personal and political differences are too great. Most important, however, the AMBANG group's analysis of the mood and desires of the Cuban population shows that the country's future lies in the implementation of the goals of true revolutionists (AMBANG circle) and not with goals long outdated and offering no challenge or appeal to the Cubans. The AMBANG group is, of course, willing to cooperate with AMRASP and will not attack it. Since they are progressing nicely inside, AMBANG wants to establish a counterpart outside. Miro Cardona, Pepin Bosch, Quevedo, AMCHIRP-1 and AMWAIL-2 were mentioned as the most prominent members. They would like and very much need U.S./Parlett support..."
