Discussion:
The full name of the PRCA was the Patrido Revolucionario Cubana Autentico. In addition, on December 2, 1963, "according to (Carlos) Prio, (Noel del) Pino has become disgusted with Lomberto Diaz Rodriguez and Antonio Santiago Ruiz who have been attempting to persuade Pino and other members of their group not to allow the Autentico Party to unite, and as a result there has been a great change." A dispatch from JMWAVE on July 3, 1964, stated that when Antonio Santiago Ruiz returned to Miami from Washington, as reported...by AMOT-31 (probably Felix Gutierrez Fernandez), Santiago told Alfredo Donate Gamba, an AMOT informant, he had acquired information during his interview with Daniel Oduber Quiroa, Costa Rican Foreign Minister. In a cable on February 5, 1966, AMOT-132 reported that Manuel Ray (AMBANG-1), leader of JURE, and Antonio Santiago Ruiz, a member of the Executive Committee of the PRCA, left presumably from Miami on February 2nd for Costa Rica. Earlier information, in February of 1964, from an AMOT source described Santiago as a publicist in Miami. Therefore, Antonio Santiago Ruiz was still involved in the PRCA in 1966.

Cuban Counterrevolutionary Handbook entry for RDR or Rescate: Pages 3-4: ..."In June 1961, a number of PRCA leaders in Cuba who had never accepted Varona as their leader, and several who had initially been a part of RDR, instructed PRCA leaders, Lumberto Diaz, Ruben Mendiola, Carlos Jones, Sergio Mejias, Cesar Lancis, Noel del Pino, and Antonio Santiago to set up an exile organization called PRCA. The former individuals refused to recognize Varona as the true leader of the Autentico Party and remained loyal to Felix Lancis who was then in prison. They claimed it was necessary for the PRCA to remain as an entity apart from the RDR which they felt was in reality a political party created by Varona to replace PRCA..."
