Status:
Speculative
Discussion:
A cable on July 12, 1961, cited below, possibly identified AMOT-63 as Rafael Llacoya Gomez (the first name was definitely Rafael), with a 201 number of 201-291555.

AMOT-63 reported in 1961 on a intelligence course in Miami being organized by Cuban exiles linked to the Navy. AMOT-32 (Orlando Gomez Gil) was the instructor. AMOT-63 believed that AMCLATTER-5 (Alberto de Jesus Alberty Garcia) was connected to it. A memo on June 8, 1961, stated that C-42 was AMOT-63.

AMOT-63 was mentioned in an AMWORLD cable in November 1964 on Santiago Alvarez Sr. and Jr. being delayed at an airport by the INS or the FBI. Furthermore, a December 1964 dispatch stated that AMOT-63 had been in contact with the family of Antonio Veciana Blanch earlier in the year in regards to an attempt to recruit Orestes Guillermo Ruiz Perez, the brother-in-law of Antonio Veciana Blanch.

Also, AMOT-63's 201 number was 201-291555. A 1962 CIA document on the cancellation of POA's included five 201 numbers that were very close to AMOT-63's 201 number. These were Enrique Jose de Lamar y Maza (201-291541), Victoriz Bortha del Carmen Testar Baldes (sp) (201-291542), Teresa Suarez Hernandez (201-291544), Rafael Armando Sanchez-Breton Morel (201-291545) and Elena Cora Johnson (201-291547).

The Cuban Counterrevolutionary Handbooks' entry, in March 1964, for the AFPJC, lists a Dr. Enrique de la Mar y Maza as the group's Treasurer. He may be identical to Enrique Jose de Lamar y Maza mentioned above.
