Max Lesnick Menendez, aka Max Lesnik. Lesnick ran the radio show "Cuba Despierta" aka "Cuba Awakens", which originated in Miami and transmitted from the Dominican Republic 1962-1963. Editor of the small Miami newspaper "Replica", beginning in 1963 and continuing for many years afterwards.
Status:
Documented
Discussion:
AMOT-119 is 201-209258. By 1965, he was known as AMJAG-7. Why the change? Maybe too controversial to be considered an AMOT in any context.

Active in SFNE with Eloy Gutierrez Menoyo.

Despite some initial denials, Lesnick now admits that he was the one who came up with the well-known phrase “Cuba Si, Yankee No.”. See Clip 5 in this trailer... http://www.manoftwohavanas.com Because Lesnick reached out to both sides - documented in his daughter Vivian Lesnick's documentary The Man of Two Havanas - he was targeted by the anti-Castro forces in Miami.
