Definition:
Eric Marcos. A memo from Eric Marcos in April of 1963 had "Lemon-1" handwritten alongside his name. Therefore, it is possible that Marcos was AMLEMON-1.
Status:
Speculative
Discussion:
In the memo mentioned above Marcos referred to C-1 and D-1. Among other things, D-1 had reported that C-1 had obtained the nomination of sub-agent Urra in Candidacy number 3 of the Association of Veterans of the Bay of Pigs as Undersecretary. Who were C-1 and D-1?

AMLEMON-1 was described as a former JMWAVE agent in late October 1963, and appeared to be monitoring JURE.

AMLEMON-1 was involved in a sabotage mission in Cuba against the Cuban Electric Company in late November 1960. Four Cubans were arrested, and three were later executed (William Le Sante, Luis Mendez and Julio Casielles Amigo), while Armando Rodriguez Vizcaino was sentenced to 30 years imprisonment in the Isle of Pines Prison.

AMLEMON was the source of information that Jose Cusco was a MDC delegate in New Orleans in April 1963. A report from New Orleans FBI SA Warren C. De Brueys in March of 1962 stated that Dr. Jose M. Cusco was a then member of the Cuban Revolutionary Council's (CRC) Advisers and Advertising Committees in the city. Carlos Bringuier and Arnesto Rodriguez were also members of the Advisers committee, and the former was also a member of the Advertising committee.

The MDC in New Orleans were also mentioned in a JMWAVE cable in September of 1963. An AMOT source reported that the MDC had caught "G-2 infiltrator", Fernando Jose (Fernandez) Barcena, in their training camp in New Orleans. Fernandez was allegedly writing to Carlos Lechuga, Cuban ambassador to the UN, to an address in Mexico, and to another in Brazil about MDC activities. As mentioned above, AMLEMON-1 had reported on another MDC member in New Orleans earlier in 1963.
