Also arrested two operators on board: Emilio de Cardenas Pinera and Aurelio Lugo Gonzalez , charging them with operating radio station without federal licenses. 2. Liaison sources report that operators protested arrest saying that radio was sponsored by an ODYOKE (U.S. Government) agency and craft undergoing repairs for participation in invasion Cuba. 3. Miami FCC authorities would appreciate KUBARK (CIA) HQs specifically request FCC HQs to neutralize Calypso in order that they may have vessel towed to secure dock Miami. 4. FYI. 08/20/62: FBI report by Robert James Dwyer from Miami Office: Titled: Anti-Fidel Castro Activities: Pages 11-12: ..."Agrupacion Montecristi (AM), 473 West Flagler Street, Miami, Florida: Justo Carrillo Hernandez, former banker in Cuba, continues as General Co-Ordinator of the organization, and Francisco Carrillo Masvidal, as the Secretary-General and Delegate to the CRC. The organization continues to have a labor, management, professional, and a student section. MM T-2 advised that although the AM claims to have these sections, there has never been any evidence of their existence. On May 14, 1962, the Cuban government press reported that the SV28, a Cuban National Patrol Boat, was attacked on May 13, 1962, off the northern coast of Cuba, and three crewmen were killed and five wounded. On May 16, 1962, MM T-5, a Cuban national involved in revolutionary activities, advised that Justo Carrillo claimed that AM was responsible for the attack, that it was a patriotic act by anti-Communist Cubans, and that two AM members were wounded. MM T-6, a Cuban national in San Juan, Puerto Rico, advised that AM has no more than five members in Puerto Rico. On June 4, 1962, MM T-7, a Cuban national, advised that although AM has about 45 members in Tampa, Florida, there are no regular meetings or any sponsored activity. On June 14, 1962, MM T-8, a Cuban national, advised that the AM headquarters in New York City is located at 200 West 49th Street. The organization is represented by Jose Gonzalez Arguelles. AM is inactive, is in financial difficulties, but receives some money from the CRC..."
