A letter from Alberto Muller to President Kennedy in February of 1961 mentioned that the former "was infiltrated into Cuba on 19 November 1960 to carry on clandestine propaganda and political action among students. His work includes clandestine broadcasts in Havana, the publication of a clandestine student newspaper, placement of bombs for psychological effect, and the organization of student resistance."

02/00/61: CIA document: "1. Alberto Muller, a Cuban student leader, gained prominence in February 1960 when he led a demonstration of protest to the laying of a wreath by Mikoyan on the statue of Marti. He now heads the Student Revolutionary Directorate, a Miami-based exile organization created by CIA. Muller was infiltrated into Cuba on 19 November 1960 to carry on clandestine propaganda and political action among students. His work includes clandestine broadcasts in Havana, the publication of a clandestine student newspaper, placement of bombs for psychological effect, and the organization of student resistance. Muller's most importance accomplishment has been the launching of a student strike, still in effect, which has caused the Government of Cuba to take violent countermeasures. 2. A letter signed by Alberto Muller, in the name of the Directorate, arrived in this country on 7 February. A three-man student delegation plans to deliver the letter to President Kennedy during the week of 13-18 February. The delegation will be composed of Ernesto Fernandez Trevieso, Eduardo Nuniz Melo, and Teresa Valdez Hurtado..."

3/22/77: In a memo for the record, CIA officer Charles Anderson claimed that he gave reqiuirements to AMGABE-1, AMPAN-22, AMBLEAK-1 and AMING-3 re the JFK murder. Although Anderson's name is redacted, his room number "3D02" is seen in this document: 104-10059-10291, p. 2.
