He was a member of a political action group known as the FORDC. His bio number 201-284658. His anti-Castro alias was "Luis Garcia". 8/3/61: "On August 3, 1961, Reinaldo Pico, one of the captured prisoners of war who chosen as one of the ten to form the Tractors of Peace Committee which came to the United States in an effort to secure tractors in exchange for the prisoners, remained in Miami, Florida...Mirto Collazo, another of the Committee of Ten Prisoners, who remained in the United States rather than return to the prisoner of war camp in Cuba..."

In another cable seven months later on 12/13/63, Mexico City station asked permission from GALBOND (J.C. King) and ASHMEAD (James Angleton) for permission to destroy tapes on Doust and Rettie. CLASC also indicated certain (FORDC members) including AMICE-31 welcome aboard...AMICE-31 will be instructed (to) penetrate CLASC for joint (FORDC/CIA) purposes." Handwritten note: "re op to undermine (Emilio) Maspero stature in CLASC, and thus secret set stage for (REDACTED - "SECRET") his replacement."
