Status:

Discussion:
A cable on August 25, 1962, reporting on the AMSPELL (DRE) raid and shelling on the Sierra Maestra Hotel and the Blanquita Theatre the day earlier, stated that AMHINT-30 commanded the Juanin I, with AMHINT-2 (Juan Manuel Salvat Roque) aboard directing the operations. The crew were reportedly Bernabe Pena Pallete, AMHINT-41, Enrique Torres Angulo, Carlos Hernandez Sanchez (AMHAZE-2524, and probably also had the cryptonym AMHINT-33), and Jose Basulto Leon (possibly/speculative AMHINT-21).

Leslie Nobregas' Susan Ann provided escort and cover to Juanin 1 on the raid. Its crew was allegedly made up of AMHINTs-28, 45, 46, 35, 7, 8, 9, 10, Ignacio Arjona Suri, Rodolfo Vidal Alvarez, Luis Campa Saupa, and Lazaro Farinas Ruiz, and one unidentified individual, who were all DRE members.
