A cable on November 26th, 1963, stated that AMHICK-1 had obtained information from Antonio Arrechabaleta O'Farrill, a Rancho Veloz taxi driver, who in turn, had obtained information from "friends and contacts in the Sagua area."
A cable in December of 1963 mentioned that AMHICK-1, AMHICK-2 and AMDITTO-17 were scheduled to go on an infiltration mission, with AMTOBY-13 remaining on the parent vessel.

Following received AMHICK-1 on 23 Nov, and attempt to clarify for details on 25 Nov: A. Only short range missiles remain at Saavedra Base. Larger missiles transferred to larger missile base at Zulueta; B. During months of Oct, Nov 63 noted decrease Sov personnel Sagua area, and Sov personnel who formerly at Saavedra missile site transferred to Zulueta site: C. Large building on Saavedra with pitched movable roof which opened and close daily; D. 17 Nov, seven JS 2 or T-54 tanks along Carretera Norte near Rancho Veloz, transported on lowboys in easterly direction. 4. AMHICK obtained info from Antonio (Arrechabaleta), Rancho Veloz taxi driver, who in turn obtained information from 'friends and contacts in Sagua area'...5. Because of possibility 'El Guajiro' of Dorta reporting also be identical with that of 'friends and contacts' Arrechabaleta, no dissem at present AMHICK information for fear false confirmation. AMHICK planning trip in near future. AMHICK case officer requested instruct agents collect all possible details Saavedra barn, Zulueta base, type hardware, etc."
