A cable on June 22, 1962, mentioned that Silvia de Los Reyes Delgado was a legal traveler recruited by AMDENIM-1 (Alberto Fernandez Hechevarria) for use as one time courier for Unidad Revolucionaria (UR). In addition, a dispatch in October of 1962 stated that AMEPOCH-6 was an "internal asset whom AMDENIM-1 developed through a legal traveler who carried in an SW system." The dispatch added that AMEPOCH-6 had now been contacted through a YELLOWTAIL III sea rendezvous and was being prepared to receive an initial element of the LYRE team for relay into the Matanzas area. It was hoped to make AMEPOCH-6 a ratline for the remainder of this team and the materiel they would require to carry out their operational tasks.

A dispatch in March, 1963, mentioned that no reply had been heard from AMEPOCH-6, despite a letter being sent to his home in Matanzas. It was believed he was in Camaguey. Moreover, a dispatch in June of 1963 stated AMEPOCH-6 "was the subject of Operation YELLOWTAIL IV, which aborted due to his failure to confirm reception arrangements at the last minute. His return to the Varadero area from central Camaguey would probably result in further word from him in the near future."

A dispatch in October, 1963, mentioned that AMEPOCH-6 was a SW source in Cuba, and that AMDENIM-1 had ties with AMEPOCH-6's relatives in the Miami area. A cable from Mexico City in October of 1961 stated that both LITAMIL-1 (Manuel Machado Llosas) and AMEPOCH-2 had had entry problems to Miami: https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=229168#relPageId=3 A dispatch in March, 1963, stated that AMEPOCH-2's Operational Approval was cancelled on February 5, 1963, and A-2 was assigned the 201 number of 201-293116: https://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=225475#relPageId=1

Regarding internal contacts of AMDENIM/1 (Alberto Fernandez Hechevarria): on learning of the well being of AMEPOCH-6 via mail to regular correspondents following the October crisis an SW message was sent to him early in February requesting that he signal via telegram code when he is ready for a reception and that he send out SW letters on a regular basis to give us the benefit of intelligence available to him. No reply has as yet been received. This is in part due to his being in Camaguey and probably not having received the letter (letter sent to his home in Matanzas) right away. Several potential internal contacts have been spotted through a fisherman AMDENIM-1 picked up in the JMWAVE area by the name of (REDACTION). He and two fishermen brothers by the names of (REDACTION) are being developed by AMDENIM/1 to return to the area in which their contacts are located in the near future in the hopes of developing a hiding place for a radio operator and possibly a courier net leading into Santa Clara, Placetas and other large towns in Las Villas..."
