A. dated 2 January 1962: SW message from agent, AMDOSE-1, dated 7 December 1962, includes the statement 'the majority of us hope that Kennedy finishes with Fidel before Christmas.' 104-10165-10199: CABLE: ARMED WITH DATES CONTAINED REF E HAVE REVIEWED AMCORE-2 TAPES IN DETAIL

08/07/64, Cable from JMWAVE to Director: "1. Armed with dates contained in Ref E (MADR 1329 (IN 36966)), have reviewed AMCORE-2 tapes in detail. This effort has identified two references buried among AMCORE-2's messages to Sentinels of Liberty which could be message reported by AMDOSE-1. These message are as follows: A. 17 June broadcast: 'Radames, without this having any ties, iron the message I send you. Answer through customary channel. Do not relay reply. Very important. The same to Santos number two. Answer through customary channel.' B. 27 June broadcast: 'Santos number two, 1995, Jorge Antonio, Dr. Jorge Achaques, Raspe, Radames, Captain Radames, iron the reverse message arriving with all possible security.' 2. Based para 1 findings AMCORE-2 was questioned re use messages in broadcast Cuba which gave insight into SW ops. AMCORE-2 was informed that our live monitoring 17 and 27 June broadcasts had missed his references to SW and we chagrined learn about this matter from assets in Cuba was complaining about AMCORE-2 indiscretions...3. While above establishes fact AMCORE-2 did broadcast info re SW reagent and AMDOSE-1 correct on this point, still have no evidence support AMDOSE-1 contention all letters being opened in Cuba. We continue receive about 30 SW letters per week from agent sources Cuba...Issue of mail censorship has been nil but violation did have unfortunate impact AMDOSE-1 op which WAVE regrets. C/S Comment: *Request STA supply WAVE info HQs original text of AMDOSE/1 message."
