Discussion:
A memo in September of 1964 stated that the individual with the 201 number of 201-744305. had the same C-Number. Therefore, Angel Manuel Benitez Benitez was AMDESK-2. Furthermore, this memo included AMDESK-2's 201 number in the group of individuals who had received Operational Approvals for the WIPEGASUS Project in the Congo. Also included were the 201 numbers for AMDESK-1 (Ricardo Anibal Morales Navarrete), AMTYKE-7 (Manuel A. Rivero Coloma - albeit a slight mistake with the 201 number in that particular document), and AMTABBY-61.

A document in 1968 listed nineteen Cubans that had been involved in the WIPEGASUS Project in the Congo. Angel Manuel Benitez Benitez was on this list. This document stated that Benitez was born on November 22, 1938, at Consolacion del Sur, Pinar del Rio, Cuba. He entered the United States in early 1962.
