Discussion:
A cable from JMWAVE on November 27, 1963, stated that "AMCOVE-1 (Alejandra Sanchez) WT 57 received 26 Nov. Info from AMCOVE-8 from person in A-8 confidence who works at San Julian." AMCOVE-8 was described as "a resident of Pinar del Rio who obtained it from a person who has regular access to San Julian air base."

According to a cable on November 30, 1963, Enrique (Henry J. Sloman - note: probably Tony Sforza) stated that "you should send bio data and where employed for man of confidence of AMCOVE-8 in San Julian base. Could not drop in Cuba all things promised. Will advise next week where you may pick up money. Will send more money and other things soon."

In a cable from JMWAVE on December 3, 1963, Enrique stated "we highly interested knowing who is friend AMCOVE-8 who now the comandante. Send us complete one and bio graphic data of friend of AMCOVE-8. As you can imagine we are highly interested knowing who comandante is. At least for now AMCOVE-8 should ask his friend where comandante works, how long has he known him, how did he meet him, what does comandante think the friend of AMCOVE-8 does with the information he provides."

They have for some time mobile net communications on north coast from la Coloma to Cortes. AMCOVE-8 reports. Nov 18, Cayajabos with direction towards Artenisa observed 12 book page 7 (T-34 tanks) on trailers. Late same day saw at edge of Guanajay 1 book page 4 (SU 100 assault gun) with number 220 painted (garble) on one side. AMCOVE-12 informed, changed to code name Gustavo. Nov 17, in the afternoon, passed by crossroad la Choricera after Guanajay, towards Havana, 9 book page 7 (T-34 tanks). AMCOVE-12 observed. 2. WAVE comments in parentheses."

Following translation ref: Nov 20, tanks deposited near Managua, place reported previously, they maintain 15 book page 4 (SU 100 assault guns) and approximately 30 book page 7 (T-34 tanks). This place is 3 kilometers town of Managua going toward Santiago Las Vegas on the right of the Managua camp. AMCOVE-12 observed. Nov 17, at San Julian, Pinar del Rio, they have approximately 100 tank trucks camouflaged. They (tanks) appear to be of (for) fuel. Also observed by man of my confidence, 20 jeeps with microwave antennas at rear and the jeep covered where it has microwave. AMCOVE-8 informed. 2. WAVE comments in parentheses."

When here, authorized you pay AMCOVE-12 sufficiently so that he would not have to traffic in black market and asked that neither you nor he visit AMCOG-3. We have heard that uniformed Chinese soldiers have arrived. Question when and aboard what ship they arrived, how many, how they dress, where do they have their base and all details possible. Report from the comandante says on the whole island of Cuba there is a total of 1105 tanks of various types, a total of 372 combat planes of different types...3. Following translation Ref B: Equipment observed by friend AMCOVE-5 at San Julian base, Pinar del Rio...AMCOVE-8 reported. 4. WAVE comments in parentheses.
